Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Last Updated: October 28, 2026
At Amino Club ("we," "our," or "us"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or finalize an invoice with us.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and shipping/billing addresses
- Payment Information: Credit card details and billing information (processed securely through our payment providers)
- Invoice Information: Items invoiced, invoice history, and transaction details
- Communication Data: Messages, emails, and support requests you send us
- Account Information: Username and password if you create an account
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, we automatically collect:
- IP address and browser type
- Device information and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on our site
- Referring website and exit pages
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill your invoices
- Communicate with you about your invoices and our library
- Send promotional emails (with your consent)
- Improve our website and the invoicing experience
- Prevent fraud and enhance security
- Comply with legal obligations
- Respond to your questions and support requests
3. Information Sharing
We share personal information with third-party advertising vendors for advertising measurement unless you opt out (sections 5 and 7); California law treats that as sharing, and some of it as a sale. We also share your information with:
- Service Providers: Payment processors, shipping carriers, and email service providers who help us operate our business
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- Advertising vendors: cookie and device identifiers, IP address, activity on the site and limited contact details for a finalized invoice, shared with third-party advertising vendors to measure their ads and show ours, unless you choose essential cookies only or your browser sends Global Privacy Control
Text messaging (SMS) data
When you agree to receive text messages from Amino Club LLC (Amino Club), we collect your mobile number, the date and time of your consent and the page where you gave it, and the delivery and reply events of the messages we send you. We use this data only to send the messages you asked for (a one-time sign-in code, invoice confirmations, shipment updates and reminders about a draft invoice you started, and, if you turned on the Texts toggle on your account page, promotional texts such as sales, new items, restock and Business Credit notices), to honor STOP and HELP requests, and to keep records of consent.
Our website uses cookies and your signed-in session to keep track of the items you place in a draft invoice, including when you leave it unfinished. This information may be used to decide when to send draft invoice reminder (shopping cart reminder) texts, where you have agreed to receive them.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the aggregators and providers of the text message service. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your number is shared with the messaging provider that delivers our texts, and only for that purpose. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission
- Secure payment processing through PCI-compliant providers
- Regular security audits and monitoring
- Limited access to personal information by employees
- Secure data storage with encryption at rest
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tools on this site. They fall into three groups:
- Essential: what the site needs to work, such as your signed-in session, your draft invoice, the researcher attestation at the gate, fraud and abuse checks and the record of your cookie choice. These are always on.
- Analytics: third-party analytics vendors and our own site analytics, used to find problems and improve the site.
- Advertising: third-party advertising vendors, which measure their ads and may show ours to people who visited. This shares identifiers such as cookie and device IDs, IP address and activity on the site, and limited contact details for a finalized invoice, with those vendors, which California law treats as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How the choice is made. A short notice at the bottom of the screen lets you allow analytics and advertising cookies or keep essential cookies only. Until you choose, they are allowed unless your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Your answer is stored in a cookie named amino_consent on that browser for one year. You can change it at any time at Your Privacy Choices, which the footer links as Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Choosing essential cookies only switches off the analytics and advertising tools above.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it as an opt-out of sale or sharing and keep advertising cookies off on that browser, whether or not a choice has been made. If you choose to allow while the signal is on, we take that as your answer.
How long we keep it. The cookie that records your choice lasts one year. Analytics and advertising data is kept for no longer than each tool's retention setting allows and only while needed for the purposes above. Account, invoice and support records are kept while your account is open and for the period tax, payment and fraud rules require after that.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as signing in or finalizing an invoice, from working.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@aminoclub.com.
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the rights below. We extend them to anyone who asks.
- Know: ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it and who we shared it with.
- Delete: ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. We keep what the law requires, such as invoice and tax records.
- Correct: ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing: we share identifiers such as cookie and device IDs, IP address and activity on the site, and limited contact details for a finalized invoice, with third-party advertising vendors so they can measure their ads and show ours to people who visited. California treats this as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and some of it may count as a sale. Opt out by choosing essential cookies only at Your Privacy Choices, which the footer links as Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information: we use sensitive personal information, such as payment card details and sign-in credentials, only to provide what you asked for, keep your account secure, prevent fraud and meet legal duties, which is what the law allows without a limit request. We do not use it to infer characteristics about you.
- No discrimination: we will not refuse service, charge a different price or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.
How to submit a request. Email support@aminoclub.com from the email address on your account, or include the name, email address and phone number you used with us, so we can verify who you are. We may ask for more detail before acting, and we answer within the time the law allows, normally 45 days. A request to opt out of sale or sharing needs no verification.
Authorized agents. You can have someone else submit a request for you. We will ask for your signed written permission, and we may still confirm the request with you directly.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
8. Children's Privacy
Our website is not intended for individuals under 21 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will promptly delete it.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
