What Is AHK-Cu?
AHK-Cu is a synthetic copper-binding tripeptide, L-alanyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine chelated with a divalent copper ion (Cu2+). It is closely related to GHK-Cu, differing by an alanine in place of glycine at the N-terminus. In vitro research reports that it stimulates dermal papilla cell proliferation and elevates vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), the angiogenic signal that supports the hair follicle.
